Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Laxey yesterday evening.
It happened on Minorca Hill at around 6:30pm (Tuesday).
Officers said a person was left with substantial facial injuries and needed hospital treatment.
There were believed to be numerous witnesses to the incident who helped the victim.
