Ramsey predictably improved massively from April 20 defensive performance, and Douglas were just 0-5 up at half-time from a 20th-minute Simon Hoddinott rumble and Liam Kirkpatrick score.
Joe Corkish, on for brother Oli, earned a yellow card from referee Daryl Richards, and with John Watling driving Ramsey forward, the northerners support were in full voice even as a Nathan Robson penalty attempt fell short and wide.

The seaside touchliners were quieter as the Douglas scrum took command, and Brendan Kelly scorched over on the right wing to double the Douglas lead soon after the break.
Kirkpatrick grabbed a second try after faultless lineout work and another dominant scrum where Rob Todd, Hoddinott, Owen Carvin, Conor Garland and Ralph Clarke ruled the roost.
Captain Blake Snell cracked the whip as substitute Carl Markl-Ferns blasted through just before the hour to make the Ramsey mountain an Everest, and Douglas almost emptied the bench with Richard Bell Conor McCaughan, Cal Dentith and Mark McGee in the thick of the action.
The no-nonsense Douglas display was typified by a thundering Kyle Martin cover tackle as Ramsey winger Brandon Atchison looked to have the line at his mercy, and Sam McCord’s deserved 70th minute strike brought up the quarter century of scoreboard points with nary a conversion in sight.
