Driver charged after driving against one way system

A 51 year old man has been charged with Dangerous Driving and Failing to Conform to a Traffic Sign or Signal.

The motorist, who is from the Island, was seen driving against the one way system.

He was bailed from court with one of the conditions being that he doesn’t drive.

The Mountain Road is one-way for the duration of the TT from Ramsey to the Creg-ny-Baa.

It will revert to two-way traffic from June 11.
