Nigel Dunmore has clarified why he is standing in both Ramsey and Garff.
When the official candidates’ lists for each of the Island’s 12 constituencies were published today, Dunmore was seen to have his name down in the two different constituencies.
The Maughold resident told Manx.News: “I live and operate in both constituencies, they have similar issues, and it provides a platform to speak on behalf of constituents in both.”
Manx.News is seeking clarification on what would happen if a candidate was elected in two different constituencies.
The other candidates in Garff are: Anthony Allen, Sean Bostrom, Daphne Caine, Aishlinn Creer, Richard Henthorn, Victoria Hewison, Peter Kermeen and Martyn Perkins.
The other candidates in Ramsey are: Robert Cowell, Lawrie Hooper, Juan McGuinnes, Janine Shimmin and Peter Whiteway.
