After four years in post, Ean Parsons has stepped down as President of the Manx National Farmers Union.
MNFU said: “Ean has been a brilliant leader of the Union, has done much to raise the profile of Manx Agriculture, never shies away from an issue, represented all sectors fairly, and he has contributed an enormous amount of his time to the Union as President.”
Although Ean is stepping away from the role as President, he will stay on as a Patron.
New Leadership
At MNFU’s AGM on Monday (October 27) evening, it was confirmed that Murray Cringle will take over the role as President.
Murray has been Vice President for a number of years, and has pushed on issues such as farm futures, succession and food security relentlessly.
Kirree Kermode will take on the role as Vice President. MNFU said: “We are all very much looking forward to working with Kirree over the coming year!”
