Easter Egg Hunt For GNAAS

Staff at Sovereign Trust arranged an Easter Egg hunt and Easter themed games to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Employees raised £274 for the charity thanks to their Easter themed activities.

The GNAAS responds to the most critically ill and injured people on the Isle of Man with its pre-hospital emergency medical care specialists.

GNAAS

In March, Manx Care and GNAAS agreed a new contract that will see continuation of the service for a further 12 months.

The service will be funded based on a per mission costing with GNAAS committing to strengthening its fundraising activities on the island.

As a result, taxpayers will be paying for the year’s contract while also being asked to support the charity’s fundraising efforts.

While the charity says it is grateful for the support it receives from islanders, its current fundraising means would mean it could not continue to operate on the island without taxpayer funding.
