There is an electric bus operating around the island over the next few weeks.
A spokesperson from the Department of Infrastructure told Manx.News: ‘Currently, there is one additional bus on the island, an electric vehicle from Evobus, which is here for a three-week period.
‘This forms part of the Department’s technical staff workshop training programme, which includes electro mobility and coach training. The vehicle will allow us to complete the necessary familiarisation whilst also allowing us to gather Island specific performance data.
‘This will assist the Department in its strategic approach to support Climate Change targets.’
