Update – The road has reopened
There is currently a road closure currently in place from the Blackboards to Oatlands Road due to three dangerous trees.
The DoI is currently in the process of dealing with this.
Police said: “Further to this, we are receiving reports of flooding on the roundabout in Ballasalla at the junction with Balthane Industrial estate.
“DoI is aware. Please drive with caution in the area.”
Due to the closure, buses will divert via Braid, St Marks and Orrisdale Rd until further notice.
As a result buses will not be able to serve the Santon area until the road reopens.
