Are you interested in becoming a volunteer Coastguard Rescue Officer? Would you like to find out more about what the service does?

If so, then its just your luck that there is an Open Day at the Ramsey Coastguard Station, Shipyard Road, Ramsey on Sunday, April 7 from 10am to 2pm.

If you’re looking to do something rewarding you could be the next member of its team.

Isle of Man Coastguard is part of the Isle of Man’s Emergency Service.

It’s Rescue Service is made up of volunteers who carry out rescues and help those in distress from Coast to Mountain.

As a volunteer Rescue Officer, you could be involved in a range of situations, from mud, cliff and water rescues to searches for missing people.

Volunteering with the organisation is a rewarding role that supports and gives back to your local community.

You can make a real difference and help to save lives.
