A bus route to serve the new Liverpool ferry terminal has launched today.
Fares will be £2, the flat fare across Liverpool for buses between the terminal and Liverpool One, child tickets are £1.
Operated by Stagecoach, the route will run from 10am to 2pm and 5pm to 7:30pm until July 20.
After that date, the route will operate through the day from 7am to 7.30pm.
Starting in November the route will be available on Saturdays and Sunday only, to coincide with future Manxman sailings to the city.
Stagecoach said: “This new bus service is a significant step forward in improving transportation links within Liverpool, enhancing access to the ferry terminal, and supporting the ongoing development of the Liverpool Waters area.”
The Manx government’s much delayed and over budget terminal opened last week.
