Thrive Farms, a farm shop in Ramsey, is to close from Saturday (July 6) due to a ‘challenging growing season’.
It says the decision comes after a challenging growing season, which has left its crops significantly behind schedule.
The producer says that setback has made it ‘unsustainable’ to continue running a physical store with its associated overheads at this time.
Thrive Farms hopes that shutting the shop will enable it to ‘focus on developing a stronger plan for the future of Thrive Farms’.
It says it is ‘committed to overcoming these challenges and returning with even better offerings for our community’.
