Crews from Kirk Michael Fire Station undertook joint training with its colleagues the Isle Of Man Ambulance Service.
Ambulance crews demonstrated a range of their capabilities and took fire staff through the ambulance lay out so that firefighters can assist them as best possible at multi-agency incidents.
A full scenario for a medical emergency in a sheltered housing environment was then facilitated to put the theory into practice.
It started with the initial arrival of fire crews providing immediate care, casualty relocation and space creation through to Paramedics advanced intervention and extraction.
