Fire crews battled a house fire tonight after large amounts of smoke were seen issuing from the first floor of a property.
Three fire appliances were mobilised, along with paramedics and police.
On arrival to the house at Ballaoates Road, crews made a quick entry to the property and worked swiftly to bring the fire under control and established early on that nobody was inside the property at the time of the fire.
Crews remained in attendance for about three hours fully extinguishing the fire and damping down, ensuring the property was safe with assistance from Manx Utilities.
