Police are appealing for information after fire damage was caused to a wooden hut at Manor Park School in Pulrose.
The incident happened sometime last weekend.
Officers from the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team said unknown persons attended the wooden hut within the playing field and caused the fire damage.
A force spokesperson said: “Resources like this are precious to our islands’ schools and provide much needed outdoor spaces for our children to learn and thrive. Mindless damage like this renders such facilities unsafe and unable to be used and may prevent further investment in the future.”
