The Department of Infrastructure has extended the road closure on Fleshwick Road to Friday.
The closure has been extended to allow surfacing works to be completed which has been delayed due to a “number of operational constraints, including weather and supply issues”.
The knock on affect of this delay is that the resurfacing team from Island Drainage & Groundworks Ltd will now start work on Surby Road slightly later than previously advertised.
The Department has further drainage work planned in and around Fleshwick which is to be undertaken at a later date, outside of this closure period.
