Local food establishments Delissimo and Appetites are up for sale.
Appetites, an outside catering business, has been operating on the island for 30 years.
Delissmo, a take away service in Onchan, has been running for nine years.
Business owners say that the time has come for them to “explore new opportunities”.
Sale or Lease
They said they are fully committed to continue trading while exploring a sale, and if nothing comes to fruition then they will continue running the business.
It is open to ideas of a sale or a lease to buy for Delissmo.
With the sale option, the business suggests a return on investment time of 18months and includes the delivery cars, online system, and full equipped shop.
Whereas the lease-to-buy option after three years is predicted to make between £40–£50k annual income after lease payments.
Appetites
The sale of Appetites will include the website with online ordering, prep fridge and commercial freezer.
It it expected to have a return on investment in less than 12 months with an average net turnover of £40k to £50k per year.
