Representing Great Britain, reigning FEI Eventing World Champion Yasmin Ingham entered the dressage arena aboard Rehy DJ, a combination known for their elegance and precision.
This score places her in joint third place at this very early stage of the competition. The dressage test, judged by a ground jury of three officials, evaluates movements for rhythm, suppleness, and harmony between horse and rider.
Team GB’s Strategy and Standing
Yasmin Ingham was the first rider out for Team GB, setting the tone for the rest of the squad. Second team rider Piggy March will complete her test later this afternoon, whilst Tom McEwen and Laura Collett will compete on Friday.
Great Britain enters the championship as the most decorated nation in its history, with 24 team golds and 20 individual titles.
The team is aiming to defend its team and individual honours from 2023 and maintain its dominance on home turf.
Looking Ahead
Following the dressage phase, competitors will face the challenging cross-country course on Saturday.
This years course has been designed by Captain Mark Phillips. With Yasmin Ingham’s strong dressage score, she remains a key figure in Britain’s pursuit of both individual and team medals
Ingham’s cross country start time is yet to be announced, however the projected time will be around / shortly after 11am on Saturday.
