The Northern Civic Amenity Site is having to ask customers that wish to use the site to bring with them some form of identification.
This is in order to prove a person’s residency in Ballaugh, Lezayre, Garff, Andreas, Jurby and Ramsey.
It says that a utility bill of some sort within the last three months would be an ‘ideal item’.
It is hoped that this will be a short-lived restriction and a resolution can be found going forward.
It would ask that members of the public are respectful to the site staff that are asking for this identification.
Adding: “It is not their fault that we are in this position, and they are a victim of this more so than some others.”
