The Chair of Port St Mary Commissioners says former board member Alan Grace was an ‘absolute diamond’.
His funeral was held yesterday and flags in the village were flown at half-mast in remembrance.
Bernadette Williams says Mr Grace had a lot of ‘passion’ and did his part to support residents for the 21 years he served on the board.
She says he will be hard to replace and will be ‘greatly’ missed.
