Telecommunications provider Sure by Beyon has appointed former Vodafone executive Daniel Bobu as its new Group Chief Business Officer.
Bobu brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology and telecoms sector, including 17 years with Vodafone where he most recently served as Global Head of Broadband and Digital Security.
He has also held senior roles across Romania, London, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
In his new position, he will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities across the business, with a focus on strengthening Sure’s offering for business customers and supporting organisations adopting new digital technologies.
His appointment comes as Sure continues to invest in its network, including the rollout of 5G services and fibre broadband infrastructure.
Sure by Beyon CEO Alistair Beak said the appointment comes at a time of significant innovation and investment for the company, adding that Bobu’s international experience would help deliver stronger connectivity and digital services for customers.
Bobu said he was joining the company at a “crucial time” and looked forward to helping businesses and communities across Sure’s jurisdictions thrive through digital innovation and technology.
