There is no rest for the wicked, and a statement has never been more true than for Manx equestrian star, Yasmin Ingham.
The 28-year-old competed on the biggest eventing stage in the world at Badminton Horse Trials less than three weeks ago.
Although Ingham completed an excellent clear cross country round at the CCI5* event, she had to cut her fairytale ending short by withdrawing from the final phase due to Rehy DJ picking up a skin infection.
To Bicton
With Badminton behind her, Ingham is now focused on the second half of the event season.
This weekend Yasmin is competing three horses at Bicton Arena International in Devon.
At the event she is riding her Janette Chinn’s and the Sue Davies Fund’s nine-year-olds Goliath Du Loir and Gypsie Du Loir in the CCIO4*S.
Phase One
With day one of dressage behind her, Yasmin scored a 30.3 yesterday (May 22) afternoon on Goliath Du Loir, which put them into 5th place.
She and Gypsie Du Loir will perform their dressage test at 9:18am today.
She is also contesting in the CCI3*L on the Sue Davies Fund’s eight-year-old Kinda Corvette.
Kinda Corvette and Ingham will perform their dressage at 2:48pm this afternoon.
