The funeral of John Wannenburgh takes place tomorrow (Thursday) at St Mary’s of the Isle Church in Douglas, at 10am
All are welcome to attend.
Mr Wannenburgh, who was a Douglas North MHK, died suddenly, earlier this month. His death prompted many tributes from inside the political sphere and beyond.
He was also well known for his charity support and founded the Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club.
The service will be followed by a private cremation. His family has requested no flowers. Those who want to make a donation are invited to give to a charity of their choice.
