A company has submitted plans to open a slot and gaming machine centre in Douglas.
Spin Mooar Ltd wants to operate 12 to 14 machines in the proposed shop in Nelson Street.
The company says it plans to run a “sophisticated and entertaining venue featuring a range of slot machines and gaming machines”.
It added: “We are committed to creating a safe, enjoyable environment that adheres to all regulatory requirements and promotes responsible gambling.”
Spin Mooar’s intending opening hours are 11am to 11pm seven days a week and says it will benefit the local economy by creating new jobs.
