Households will be paying 13.8% less for gas in the new year.
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority has confirmed new tariffs as of January 1 2025.
The changes will mean the cost decreases from 11.33p per unit to 9.76p.
The next planned review of tariffs will be in June 2025.
