To celebrate 999 day the Lieutenant Governor spent a morning with the Isle Of Man Ambulance Service team.
Monday (September 9) was the UK’s National Emergency Services Day.
999 Day has been a national day since 2018 with Royal and Government backing, and celebrates the two million people serving across the NHS and emergency services, including 250,000 first responders.
After accompanying a crew, His Excellency met with the Head of Ambulance Services, Will Bellamy, to discuss the challenges and successes of this vital service.
