The Government’s thoughts remain with all those affected by the conflict, particularly Manx residents with close family, cultural or economic ties to the region, and with civilians continuing to experience displacement, insecurity and limited access to essential services.

Government continues to closely monitor international developments, including diplomatic talks and regional security conditions, and is assessing any potential implications for the island.
Agencies are working together and with UK and international partners to ensure appropriate levels of preparedness.
In the statement, a Government spokesperson said: “We recognise ongoing public concern regarding energy security and fuel prices. At present, there is no disruption to the supply of petrol, diesel or home heating oil to the Isle of Man, and local suppliers remain confident in delivery arrangements.
“Global oil markets remain volatile due to uncertainty around shipping routes and ceasefire durability, which has contributed to price fluctuations; however, local prices remain below peak levels seen in 2022.”
The Government is continuing to assess wider economic impacts, including potential effects on inflation and household costs.
