The Ben-my-Chree is to be given the chance to roll back the years and show she can sill ply her trade later today.
She is due to stand in for Manxman for a day or so, starting with tonight’s sailing to Heysham.
The former flagship will also operate Thursday’s sailings to Lancashire and the Friday morning sailing back to Douglas.
Following this, Manxman will return to service starting at 8am on Friday morning.
The company has also announced changes to its schedule this week which it has blamed on ” Spring Tides affecting berth availability at the ports it operates to”.
