Manx tennis star Billy Harris has been knocked out after a gutsy display in the first round at Wimbledon.
Harris lost the first set 4-6 before rain interrupted play in the second.
Once the match resumed, the second set mirrored the first as Harris’ serve was broken by Spain’s Jaume Munar before going on to lose it 4-6
He battled back with a great display in the third set to win that 6-3, but a raft of unforced errors proved his undoing as Munar claimed the decisive fourth with an ace to win 6-3.
Harris, now the British number five, is due back on court tomorrow to play alongside Liam Broady in the men’s doubles.
