The Enterprise Minister is to be asked whether any application for financial support has been made by King William’s College, or a connected body?
Tim Johnston will be asked about the school by Lawrie Hooper (Ramsey).
King Bills has made no secret of its “delicate financial situation” in recent years, selling its Buchan site and moving all students onto its site by the airport.
It has also faced the issues of dealing with changes to VAT exemptions on private school fees, a drop in student numbers and has introduced a phased increase in its fees.
However, it has not been suggested until now that it has sought or received any taxpayer money.
The Keys sit on Tuesday from 10am.
