Police say a man has handed in £300 which was part of a bundle of cash lost in Ramsey yesterday.
The money, totalling £400, was dropped outside Ray motors on Friday, with a man later believed to have found it and picked it up.
Earlier today the man in the hat attended Ramsey station and explained that he had located the money and handed it in.
Ramsey Police said: “It looks like some has blown away as we have £300 left. Police have no suspicion that this individual intended the steal the money and he was not aware of the media posts. He has been thanked for returning the money
“The male stated there was another member of the public in a silver car that helped pick up some money as it was blowing into the road.We will look to identify this vehicle/ individual to see if they too can assist in getting this money back.”
