An additional sponsorship boost for Castletown Metropolitan FC will see the club roll-out Veo camera technology, an AI-powered tool aimed at better analysing performances.
The cameras use ball-tracking technology to record and livestream games without the need for a human operator, as well as generating automated match highlights and analytics.
Principal sponsors Hartford Homes have supported the move, on top of their existing sponsorship agreement, as the club looks to further capitalise on a flying start to the 2026/27 campaign.
A perfect start to the season has the first team sitting pretty atop Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2, while the combination side sit third in their respective league, having only tasted defeat once so far.
Club Chairman, Patrick Quinney, said: “The instalment of the Veo camera is a fantastic addition. It gives coaches and players the opportunity to analyse games and to learn valuable lessons from team performances moving forward.
“I want to thank Hartford Homes for their valued support and investment. Hartford’s support means a great deal to players here at the club, and local business support makes a real difference to what we can achieve as a club.”
