Isle of Man Post Office delivering collected trees to be composted.

Time is running out to register to tree collection and recycle your Christmas tree in aid of charity.

Hospice Isle of Man are holding its annual Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling Service.

The teams at Hospice, Isle of Man Post Office, Tel’s Ltd and Ballaneven Compost Ltd are providing the service to help dispose of Christmas trees.

Christmas trees will be collected by volunteers at The Isle of Man Post Office, taken to Tel’s to be shredded before being turned into compost by Ballaneven.

Collection dates

Collections this year will be:

  • January 6
  • January 7

To have trees collected, there is a suggested donation of just £15 per tree, and all money raised goes straight to supporting patient care at Hospice Isle of Man.

If you would like to use the service, register here or phone the Hospice team on 672222.

Registration will close tomorrow (January 3).
