Police warn of flooding following heavy rainfall

Isle of Man Constabulary are warning drivers of flooding following heavy rainfall.

Officers said a number of roads had been affected by localised flooding.

Flooded Roads

Ballamodha Straight in its entirety

Foxdale- Peel bound carriageway

Ballahutchin Road

Crosby- Glen Vine Main Road, specifically the dip by the Co-op

Greeba Bridge

Hawthorn Inn Pub area, up to Ballacraine which is quite deep.

If you do need to use the road network, please take extra care, and drive to the conditions of the road.

Isle of Man Constabulary

Last week, the Department of Infrastructure advised Island residents to ensure drains are clear and to put measures in place to protect your property.
