Golf Day Raises Over £20k For Hospice

Hospice Isle of Man’s annual Charity Golf Day has raised a record‑breaking £20,430 at Rowany Golf Club.

The event surpassied last year’s total of £16,990 and making this the most successful Hospice Golf Day to date.

Twenty‑two teams took part in the Texas Scramble in warm, sunny conditions, alongside fundraising activities including the raffle and Billy Kewley’s Hickory Challenge.

Rowany Golf Club claimed first place, followed by Apricot Investments and Agrimark.

Hospice CEO Fiona Hatton said the total reflected the “extraordinary generosity” of the Island’s business community, players and volunteers.

Billy Kewley, whose involvement is inspired by the care Hospice provided to his late wife, said he was “overwhelmed” by the support shown each year.

Hospice also thanked Prospero Group, Agrimark and Rowany Golf Club for their continued backing, with every pound raised supporting specialist care for patients and families across the island.
