The Isle of Man cricket team’s unwanted world record of lowest total runs scored has been beaten.
Ivory Coast slumped to the lowest-ever total in a men’s T20 international by scoring up just seven runs against Nigeria over the weekend.
Prior to that, the island shared the record of 10 runs, scored against Spain, with Mongolia, which scored 10 in its game against Singapore earlier this year.
An unwanted record broken, but one we’re glad to see shaken from our island’s back.
