Human Performance Conference Set for Island

A new leadership and performance conference featuring high‑profile speakers from business, sport and the military will take place on the Isle of Man this spring.

The Conference of Human Performance, hosted by Expedition Limitless, will be held on Friday, May 1 at the Comis Hotel.

The event aims to give attendees practical insights into leadership, resilience and high‑pressure performance, while raising funds for local charities.

Speaker Line up

The speaker line‑up includes former England rugby international and Celebrity Traitors contestant Joe Marler, entrepreneur and former Dragon’s Den participant Hannah Saunders, and Air Vice‑Marshal Mick Smeath CBE, the former UK Defence Attaché in Washington DC.

Tickets cost £95, with all sales matched pound‑for‑pound by the Zurich Foundation, doubling the charitable impact.

The CPD‑accredited event will offer a full day of talks, networking and discussions tailored to the Island’s business and professional community.

The conference supports the wider Expedition Limitless fundraising campaign for Rebecca House Children’s Hospice and The Children’s Centre.

As part of the initiative, a team of 15 island participants recently completed an unsupported Arctic expedition, raising £200,000 for the two charities.

Event founder Phil Quirk said the conference brings together individuals who have performed at the highest levels and offers a chance for attendees to learn from their experiences while supporting meaningful local causes.
