Yasmin Ingham and Sir Mark Cavendish picked up the sportsman and sportswoman gongs at this year’s Isle of Man Sports Awards.
As well as winning sportsman of the year, Sir Mark was also presented with a lifetime achievement award.
They were presented with their awards by special guest and two-time Olympian Georgia Taylor-Brown MBE presented their awards.
Tennis star Billy Harris was awarded Ambassador of the Year after a breakthrough year that saw him break into the top 100 men’s players in the world having reached the main draw at Wimbledon.
He also became the first Manx tennis player to represent Great Britain it the Davis Cup.
The Isle of Man continues to punch above its weight in the sporting arena.

The Manx Missile was presented with his awards at the Villa Marina where plans to rebrand the raceway at the NSC, where he started racing as a young boy, in honour of his immense legacy were unveiled to sports fans.
The GOAT won a staggering 165 professional races in a glittering career, spanning two decades, including a record breaking 35 stages at the Tour de France.
He also won the final race of his career in Singapore before retiring from in November.
