Yasmin Ingham has completed her final preparation run for Pau CCI5* with an encouraging performance aboard Gypsie Du Loir at Little Downham CCI4*S.
Ingham and the 10-year-old mare produced a superb double-clear round to finish seventh, with the Manx rider admitting she was keeping plenty in reserve ahead of Gigi’s first five-star outing in a few weeks’ time.
Reflecting on the result, Ingham said she had the “handbrake firmly on”, saving speed for the challenge that awaits in the Pyrenees at Pau in France.
She also thanked the team behind her success, thanking her owners, support staff and sponsors for their continued backing.
