Manx event rider Yasmin Ingham made a strong start to Pau CCI5* in France, sitting at the top of the leaderboard after the opening day of dressage.
Riding Janette Chinn and The Sue Davies Fund’s 10-year-old Gypsie du Loir, Ingham posted a score of 28.9 penalties, the best performance of day one and enough to put her in first place overnight.
However, with the second day of dressage still to come on Friday, the standings remain subject to change before the competition moves on to the cross-country and showjumping phases.
