A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for tomorrow, with adverse conditions expected from 3am to 3pm.
Forecasters say rain will become persistent and heavy overnight before gradually easing through Friday morning and into the early afternoon.
Rainfall totals of between 15mm and 30mm are expected.
There is also a risk of localised flooding, particularly in areas where drains are blocked, with motorists and residents urged to take care during the warning period.
