Yasmin Ingham and Gyspie Du Loir have named as a reserves for next month’s FEI Eventing World Championships.
The 29‑year‑old, originally from the Isle of Man and now based in Nantwich, will stand by with Gypsie du Loir, a 10‑year‑old dark bay mare owned by Janette Chinn and The Sue Davies Fund.
Ingham joins fellow reserves David Doel, Tom Jackson and Harry Meade, while the main squad features Rosalind Canter, Laura Collett, Caroline Harris, Tom McEwen and Gemma Stevens.
The World Championships will be held at Aachen in Germany from August 11 to 23.
In 2022, the last World Championships took place in Patroni in Italy where Ingham and Banzai Du Loir made history with their individual gold medal.
There were the only combination to win the Championships competing as an individual as they were not part of the team.
