Is That The Sun?

Dare I say this… but the weather looks like it will attempt to settle, for just a few days.

Now of course that doesn’t mean there will be no rain whatsoever, as by now we should’ve all figured out that just isn’t realistic for 2024’s version of ‘summer’.

There will be variable amounts of clouds kicking about this morning (July 27) as a few showers continue to affect the island at times.

Although from around late morning it will be largely dry with plenty of sunny spells!

Light winds and top temperatures around 18°C.

It is forecast to stay dry with clear spells tonight, although some coastal mist or fog may develop in some places (probably for you southerners, not for us mighty in the north).

Fine Sunday

Tomorrow is forecast to be dry and mostly fine day, with sunny spells but also the small risk of some coastal mist patches drifting up from the south (told you) in light southerly winds.

Top temperatures of a blistering 19 or 20°C.

I’m getting a wee bit giddy because currently next weeks forecast shows so many sun emojis and now, just maybe, I’ll get my first Manx sunburn of 2024.

Getting Familiar With The Sun

Looking ahead to next week, Monday (July 29) is forecast to be dry, with some sunny and clear intervals, but also a continuing risk of coastal mist and fog patches.

The wind with be a South 10, increasing slightly South or SW 10-15, then becoming Variable or South 05-10 later.

Tuesday (July 30) is set to hit temperatures of 21°C.

The Ronaldsway Met Office has forecast: “Little change, dry with sunny/ clear spells and rather warm, but also a continuing risk of coastal mist/ fog patches.”

Now for the last day of July on Wednesday, it is set to be a smidge warmer with a high of 22°C.

It will be dry with sunny and clear spells and warm, but also a continuing risk of coastal mist and fog patches.

What we should be elated about is the lack of rain.

Have a mega weekend all!
