The island will be under the same tariff regime as the UK under the deal reached with the USA.
The UK represents the interests of the Isle of Man in its external affairs, including ongoing trade talks with the USA.
Announced last week, the trade deal that isn’t a trade deal sets out tariffs on some goods traded between the countries.
The deal announced by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and President Donald Trump also included agricultural products and plans for a future deal.
A government spokesperson said: “The statement issued by the United Kingdom in relation to beginning negotiations on an Economic Prosperity Deal with the United States confirms that it will ‘consider the interests of those UK territories for whose international relations it is responsible’.
“While the detail is yet to be established, the same tariffs for goods coming into the UK from the US will apply to the Isle of Man and it’s anticipated that goods from the island will be treated as goods from the UK when being exported to the US.”
