A documentary that will air on Channel 5 this evening will feature the murder of Joanna Simpson.
The programme will explain how Joanna’s murderer Robert Brown calls the police and how it prompted the investigation which ultimately led to his arrest.
Robert Brown killed Joanna, whose mother Diana Parkes lives on the island, in October 2010 before burying her in a pre-dug grave.
Joanna grew up in the Isle of Man, and later moved to the UK and married BA captain Robert Brown.
The programme is part of Channel 5’s ‘A Killer Makes a Call’ series and will air at 10pm.
