A micro-brewery and taproom in Port Erin has been shortlisted for the SIBA Business Award for ‘Best New Independent Brewery’.
Kerroo Brewing Company was founded in March 2024 by Nick Scarffe and Elizabeth Townsend.
The Society of Independent Brewers and Associates Business Awards recognise ‘outstanding achievements, quality brews, and innovations within the sector’.

Speaking of the news of their nomination, Elizabeth said: “To be shortlisted by SIBA for this industry award, the weekend of our first birthday, is really a testament to the community we have built over the last twelve months.
“We’re looking forward to putting on a big celebration over the coming weekend and saying thank you to those who have thrown their support behind us since we opened the doors a year ago.”

The SIBA Business Awards 2025 will be presented on March 19 at BeerX UK in Liverpool by broadcaster and Sunday Times beer columnist Pete Brown.
