A tremendous second half performance from goalkeeper Adam Killey provided a base for FC Isle of Man to claim a second consecutive away win on Tuesday night.
Goals from Tom Creer and Luke Booth saw an young Ravens squad overcome the NWCFL Premier Division league leaders.
After falling behind to a Henri Ogunby goal in the eight minute, the Ravens rallied, with Killey making two good stops and the home side wasting a couple of clear chances.
The second half saw the keeper called into action again to keep it 1-0.
After sub Tyler Hughes was fouled, Ste Whitley’s free kick was touched home by Creer, who scored his first goal of the season.
As the clock ticked past 70, Killey made two great saves to keep the game level, the first saw him get a leg to a shot after a cross tp the back post, the second saw him make a stunning save with his face.
Shortly after Ronan McDonnell lifted a long ball down the line for Booth, as the keeper hesitated the Union Mills striker made no mistake when he lifted it over him and into the far corner to give the Ravens the win.
FC Isle of Man’s next game is at home to Cheadle Town on Saturday evening.
