A new motorsport event will join the Manx sporting calendar this weekend as five‑time World Enduro Champion David Knight launches Knight Ride IOM.
Knight Ride IOM a three day Adventure & Enduro Festival running from September 4 to 6.
The festival will give riders the chance to explore the island from a different perspective, with Knight personally curating a series of adventure and enduro routes suitable for a range of experience levels.
Many of the trails are those he trained on throughout his career, including historic and lesser‑known routes that offer a rare opportunity to follow in the tracks of one of the island’s most successful athletes.
Unlike Anywhere Else
Knight said the Isle of Man’s terrain is “unlike anywhere else in the world” and that he is excited to share routes that have shaped his riding career.
Alongside the riding programme, Knight Ride IOM will feature a trade village, entertainment, food and drink, camping, Q&A sessions with riding figures and demo bikes from brands including Ducati, CFMOTO and Arai.
Designed to showcase the island’s landscapes and outdoor adventure offering, the event aims to attract visitors while supporting local tourism and businesses.
Knight hopes the festival will become a permanent fixture on the Manx sporting calendar.
