King Williams College’s U14, U15 and first XV rugby squads recently enjoyed an unbeaten tour of the North East of England, scoring convincing wins over Yarm School.
The tour was the first taken in conjunction with the school’s newly appointed Ambassador for Rugby, former New Zealand All Black Mark Robinson.
On the field, the trip was headlined by an impressive first XV victory, demolishing Yarm’s premier side by a score of 49-17.
KWC Head of Rugby, Mark Moss, said: We were delighted with the boys’ unbeaten tour, and it was a memorable experience for everyone involved.
“However, this tour was about more than just the rugby. It also provided pupils with an opportunity to develop important qualities away from the pitch.”
