Kyocera Document Solutions UK, a familiar name to island businesses through its printers and IT services, has achieved ESG Certification.
The assessment was carried out by ESG Benchmark Group, an Isle of Man‑originated organisation whose benchmarking process is validated by the University of Exeter’s Green Futures team.
The certification evaluates companies against the UN Global Compact principles, legislation and recognised best practice.
ESG Benchmark
The review found Kyocera to be highly mature in areas including modern slavery risk management, diversity and inclusion, gender pay gap transparency, and environmental and climate strategies.
ESG Benchmark said Kyocera “scored very well” across all three pillars, Environmental, Social and Governance, following evidence checks and team interviews.
Matthew Hayman, Head of Governance & Standards at Kyocera, said the certification marks the start of deeper work with ESG Benchmark, helping the company demonstrate measurable CSR impact and support customers making informed procurement decisions.
He added that Kyocera’s philosophy centres on “responsible coexistence with society, the global community, and the natural environment”.
The benchmark, which includes carbon emissions validation, is increasingly used by organisations to demonstrate sustainability credentials, strengthen supply‑chain due diligence and support sustainable finance through emissions tracking and risk modelling.
