A Freedom of Information response has confirmed that the number of @gov.im email addresses linked to Manx Care does not reflect its staffing levels.
Thousands of accounts belonging to groups, shared mailboxes and bookable resources rather than people.
Manx Care reported 5,123 user objects in total. These include 215 groups, 995 shared mailboxes, and 211 bookable resources such as meeting rooms.
The clarification highlights that many @gov.im‑associated accounts are functional rather than personal, and should not be interpreted as representing individual employees.
